Pneumatic Steel Rim Wheels up to *220kg
When it comes to moving loads over rough and uneven surfaces, pneumatic wheels are perfect. The tyre tread provides a durable wearing surface and grip, the tubes contains the air and both tyre and tube are flexible to allow for impact absorption. Point to note when using pneumatic tyres:
- Check and maintain the correct air pressure (recommended pressure is normally branded on the side of the tyres) for optimal tyre life. Under-inflated tyres can cause the load instability and can damage the tyre and tube as the air pressure is what supports the load.
- A higher ply rating relates directly to the capacity of the tyre – a higher ply rating equals a higher load rating. All of our tyres are minimum 4 ply, while much of the cheaper imported wheels are only 2 ply and prone to splitting, delaminating, deformation and egging (where the tyre develops a hernia)
Ideal uses: Hand trucks, Platform trolleys, Agricultural, Warehousing, Plant Nursery, Materials Handling, Building sites, Garden and lawn equipment.
